Happy 4th of July... Are we really free?
So it's the 4th of July,...Independence Day in the United States of America Corporation. And I don't mean to sound unpatriotic, as we do have it better than many countries across the globe. We are not a 3rd world country! We have running water, although it's filled with fluoride, industrial waste and other neurotoxic chemicals. But at least we can shower whenever we need to and we don't have to be dehydrated... although most of us are dehydrated anyway from drinking coffee and soda all day long! We have supermarkets everywhere overloaded with food, many of them processed and full of toxic pesticides, herbicides, gmos...and don't forget...sugar! Not sure if we can still consider much of that to be food...but ok? Yummy! We can fill our bellies with delicious poison!
The land of the free and the home of the brave... where privatized prisons have taken many of our public citizens hostage...forcing them to work for pennies on the dollar making corrupt private corporate moguls into billionaires. Private prisons in the United States incarcerated 126,272 people in 2015, representing 8% of the total state and federal prison population. And since 2000, the number of people housed in private prisons has increased 45%. And we all know that people of color, particularly men, are incarcerated at a much higher rate than caucasians, right? But this must be coincidental? Land of the free huh?
Where medical insurance is almost impossible for the majority of citizens to afford. And if you have a pre-existing condition, than you might as well forget about even trying to get medical insurance! How about the pharmaceutical industry? Drugging our population to no end! Promoting mood disorder drugs to children as soon as they slip out of the womb. Endless vaccinations are being forced upon our future generation. Do we have a choice? Vaccinations that cause all types of diseases and malfunctions. Vaccinations that may even being causing the mood disorders that our children supposedly need psychotropic drugs for. We pay for expensive toxic chemotherapies that actually cause cancer, when simple natural cancer cures are being hidden from our sight. Land of the diseased, home of the pharmaceutical...
So what's this about freedom? When the banksters actually own everything, including our very own homes, cars and property. If you don't make that car payment or pay that mortgage guess who comes to take your property? How about taxes? Don't pay taxes on your property and see what happens! Do you really own your property? Are you a private citizen? I am guessing not! Okay, so at least you have a home right? Well what about that exorbitant rent or mortgage you must pay to keep that roof over your head and the heads of your beloved family? You must work work work 9-5 everyday, perhaps even more hours...you must slave to maintain what you've worked so hard to get! But at least you have a roof over your head right? Well, for many in this country this is not quite the case at all. Our country is experiencing extreme rates of homelessness and poverty. Go downtown in Los Angeles, California and you'll see the extent of this homelessness crisis. In fact, did you know that many of the homeless are actually war veterans who fought for our country? And now look where they are? In the streets! Land of the free...home of the brave. Where the government uses you to fight their wars and then throws you out like a dirty rag when they're all done with you!
Whose controlling our government anyway? Who do you think really owns all your property? Who do you think really owns you? Are you free? Are you independent? Is this really the land of the free and the home of the brave? Hey...I live here and I live a decent life to some extent....better than most I'm sure...so I'm not trying to say that I'm not grateful. I'm a private citizen with all the rights and freedoms that were meant for the American people. I woke up to the lies, tyranny and hypocrisy. And I sure am grateful that I did. Will you wake up? This has been your Happy 4th of July wake up call!
