How to Pray to God When YOU ARE GOD!
In my last article “The Big Secret is... You are God!”, I explain that there is no separation between you and God. You are in fact one energy....not two separate beings or energies. “All that exists and all that ever will exist is within you!” So in essence when you pray to God (Allah, Jesus, Yahweh, Elohim, Yeshua, Buddha, Krishna, the spirit of the universe, etc etc) you are actually praying to yourself. And when praying to yourself, the prayer should be a little different than if you were praying to a God outside of yourself... Especially if you actually want the prayer to work!
So often we hear complaints about prayers not being answered. Where is God when we need him/ her the most? It seems like he just disappears. He's not hearing anything we are saying. We beg and plead... Please help me to do this and that...etc...etc... However, although it may appear that God is ignoring you.... your prayers are actually being heard. God never went anywhere. God is not ignoring your prayer... In fact...God hears everything you are saying... Because you are God... and you are hearing everything you are saying. Right? However, being that you are God, you just happen to be praying the wrong way... with the wrong consciousness! You must pray as God... not to God! Your prayer has to be done in the correct manner if you wish to get positive results!
So put yourself in God's shoes for a moment... If you are God, which you are, you must think as God would think. God doesn't have a consciousness of poverty, lack or limitation. God has a consciousness of infinite empowerment. God wouldn't ask or even beg himself to get something done. In God's mind everything is already done. Just the thought creates the thing into existence. All things are possible with God. He is an all powerful, all loving, all knowing energy. He created all that exists and all that ever will exist. He can create anything and everything imaginable. And since you are God,... the same goes for you! So you can't ask for something to get done. You can't beg for something to get done. You can't even think that it's not done. You must pronounce that it is done! You are declaring that everything you wish for has already manifested. And you are thanking the spirit, God and yourself (God) for manifesting it! Because as God you are going to manifest it. You must will all of your desires into existence. It's up to you to create your own destiny! You are God... the creator! Not someone outside of you... YOU!
Now, this kind of prayer is nothing new. It's actually based on the principles of the Law of Attraction. The Law of Attraction states that your thoughts create your reality. So when praying, you must also practice the law of attraction. Practicing the law of attraction includes stating what you want as if it already exists. So for example...you want a boat, right? With the law of attraction you tell yourself that you already have the boat. Then you visualize having the boat as if it already exists. You see yourself driving the boat, sitting in the boat...whatever you want to do in your boat. And while you are visualizing this you are also feeling positive emotions about it. You will know that the boat is already yours. You, as God, are willing the boat into existence. And you are grateful for your boat. Gratitude is very important as well. This process of prayer (meditation) can be done with anything.
So in regards to prayer... I would recommend something like this...
“Dear God, (Allah, Jesus, Yahweh, Elohim, Yeshua, Buddha, Krishna, the spirit of the universe, or whatever name you call God) I am aware that I am one with you. I am God (Allah, Jesus, Yahweh, Elohim, Yeshua, Buddha, Krishna, the spirit of the universe, or whatever name you call God) and because of this I am infinite and all powerful just as you are. I am truly grateful to be one with you. Thank you for the wonderful life I have. I wake up everyday feeling happy. I am perfect health just as you are. I am infinite divine abundance just as you are. I have millions of dollars in the bank (or whatever amount of money you wish to have.) I am so grateful for the immense abundance in my life. I have a beautiful boat that I sail in everyday. Everyone I care for (add names if you want) is protected, safe and in perfect health. I am surrounded by positive energy all the time. I have a beautiful loving (wife, husband, boyfriend, girlfriend) that I truly enjoy. He/ she is the love of my life. We are so happy together. Thank you spirit! (Etc, Etc)”
This is just an example ofcourse. But you get the idea right? Are things as perfect as this prayer states? Usually not! But you can will these wonderful things into existence. And remember, when you say your prayer to yourself, visualize everything that you are saying and feel positive emotions about it. Try this for a while and see how things start changing. Some changes may be sudden and drastic. Other changes may take time. Some changes take years. But you know what? Time doesn't exist. So everything is happening now! You can't think in terms of time. What is meant to manifest will manifest when it's supposed to. You cannot worry. God doesn't worry. God doesn't fret. God just makes miracles happen. And you are God...so start praying as God (and not to God) and make miracles happen in your life! Peace and Blessings!
