"I'm a Conspiracy Theorist!" Poem
You say I'm a Conspiracy Theorist
But in essence I am a Truth Seeker
While I choose to question reality
most are close-minded believers
As the mainstream spits out stories
many won't question the Status Quo
for the alternative news is blasphemous
Dangerous Misinformation we've been told
But if I may be so bold...
The true danger you will find
is that your mind has been indoctrinated
by Mass Media over time!
In 1967 the CIA had coined the term
for those who started questioning
what they had learned
Seeking to discredit
these truth seekers that emerged
The Mainstream Media called them crazy,
unintelligent and absurd
In order to maintain control
and elicit blind obedience
these Truth Seekers were ridiculed
and labeled “Conspiracy Theorists”!
So if you feel you're in the minority
Just remember YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
For many are waking up now
facing criticism for what they know
We must forgive those who cannot see
with closed minds walking blindly
for not all are so graciously blessed
with an open mind that's unoppressed
Regardless, the truth comes to those who seek it
Although some claim that ignorance is bliss
I'd rather choose to be enlightened
So be it- I'm a Conspiracy Theorist!
