"Agree to Disagree" Poem

There's no need to argue

no need to debate

Our opinions differ

They do not equate

I have my own views

as you do yours

There's no need to voice them

To cause uproars

I could push and tug

try to make you see

But in the end

wasted energy

You can't be swayed

Nor can I

No anger here

I will not sigh

I'm right, you're wrong

I'm wrong, you're right

What's the difference?

Please, let's not fight

I accept your view

I will not judge

But with my view

I cannot budge

You have the right

to your own thoughts

If I raise my voice

I've already lost

Yes, I could get loud

but I'll keep the peace

and calmly agree

to disagree
